The Story of Jamaica Rise Again

When the hurricane struck Jamaica, thousands of families lost everything homes, livelihoods, hope.
But from the rubble of destruction came unity. The Jamaican diaspora in South Florida, alongside allies across the world, rose to help.
Together, we formed R.I.S.E. Jamaica a grassroots movement built on four pillars: Relief, Innovation, Support, and Empowerment.
Our mission is to turn compassion into capacity providing emergency relief, rebuilding communities, and launching sustainable programs that help Jamaicans recover and thrive.

Our Four Pillars of Action

Relief

Deliver emergency aid — food, water, and shelter materials for families in need

Innovation

Promote resilient rebuilding through safe housing, improved infrastructure, and local tools.

Support

Provide counseling, educational support, and community outreach to help families recover and rebuild confidence.

Empowerment

Build long-term programs that restore livelihoods, self-reliance, and independence.

Rebuilding Jamaica, One Family at a Time

Our Adopt a Family program connects donors directly with families impacted by the hurricane.
You’ll receive updates, photos, and reports showing how your support rebuilds lives and restores hope.
